RAMS - Robot Assisted Manufacturing System for footwear industry

RAMS - Robot Assisted Manufacturing System, is a modular system for the shoe processing that integrates machines specialized in production operations and anthropomorphic robots for the handling of the shoe between operations. The system has been designed to offer maximum flexibility, using the best available operative technology and eliminating the low added value transactions, in particular the loading and unloading of the machines, in order to be integrated in existing production systems. The machines work in “unattended” mode, recognizing the shoe via RF tags and therefore automatically choosing the working program and the correct sequence of operations to be made. Atom MB is the only company currently able to offer a totally integrated system in its various components, leveraging on the multi-year experience in the production of machines for the footwear sector and on the expertise in robotic manipulation developed by Atom Lab.
