Fostering Organizational Well-being: The Role of the Chief Wellness Officer
After two years in crisis, many healthcare leaders are finally coming up for air and taking proactive steps towards organizational well-being — with chief wellness officers leading the charge. During this important panel discussion, moderated by Jonathan Ripp, MD, MPH, chief wellness officer of the Mount Sinai Health System and Icahn School of Medicine and co-founder of CHARM, we’ll hear from three chief wellness officers at academic medical centers across the U.S.: Christine Hein, MD, Maine Medical Center; Stephen Keithahn, MD, University of Missouri School of Medicine and University of Missouri Health Center; and Mariah Quinn, MD, MPH, UWHealth and University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Our panelists will talk about who they are, what they do, their vision for healthcare workforce well-being, and why the time is now for advocacy and action. They’ll also share practical tips for advancing well-being work at your organization. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A.
