The Arequipa Campaign, the least known and perhaps most forgotten of the War of the Pacific, is brought back to light due to its importance in the final resolution of the conflict. It consisted of two expeditions, one to Ayacucho and the other to Arequipa, which departed on virtually the same date and achieved their objectives with almost no bloodshed.
