This amount, although it seems very high – equivalent to 1.6 times the Brazilian population –, still represents a slice of the audience that funk has in Brazil, since it doesn't consider artists who release songs on their own channels and even Spotify listeners, which has more than a quarter of the Brazilian population using its services and would easily add a few more million listeners to that count.
