Some 12 years after her first appearance in Home & Away, Maggie returned to the series but this time as Viv 'The Guv' Standish, a disgraced barrister who is now top dog in a women's prison. Although there are comparisons with Officer Ferguson, it later transpires she is an old flame of Alf Stewart's.
