Nissan Cube Toe Adjustment

Adding Toe-in (aka reducing Toe-out) on a 2009 Nissan Cube, at the Right Front tire. This vehicle exhibited excessive Toe-out once the control arms had been replaced. Excessive Toe-out was evidenced in feathered tire wear on both front tires, and excessive wear on the inboard side of both front tires. Feathering is a key indicator of Toe being out of adjustment. Additionally, whenever toe is to be adjusted, it's a good idea to simultaneously consider: When the vehicle is being driven straight ahead, does the driver need to tilt the steering wheel to either side. Also, when tightening steering components, it's important to ensure the parts which require articulation maintain good range of motion in which to articulate; in other words: Don't wrongfully limit the range of motion of steering components.
