ALIEN BIRTHDAY PARTY THEME | DIY BUDGET FRIENDLY PARTY My son turned 12, and all he asked for was an alien themed shindig with family at home, then a trip to the Jungle Theme Escape Room. So that's exactly what we did, and of course I had to put my little DIY spin on things. I jump at the opportunity to make my own decorations because it's fun, cheap and challenging. For small house parties with only family in attendance, I just decorate the cake table and backdrop.
