Part 2 | Day 1 Winter Ride To Natchez Trace Parkway

This ride is about learning each other’s rhythm. In this video, I head out on my BMW F 800 GS with my new riding partner Darren, who’s riding his Harley-Davidson Low Rider. It’s our first ride together, heading toward the Natchez Trace Parkway with Nashville, TN as the intended destination. But plans don’t always go as expected. We left later than planned, took our time over breakfast, and made a peaceful stop at Cave Spring, GA. The scenery invited a slower pace—and we accepted it. As beautiful as the ride was, we lost precious daylight and ended up riding through the mountains after dark, in dropping winter temperatures. With Nashville still 1.5 hours away, we made the call to stop for the night in Lynchburg, TN. Riding with someone new means adapting—different bikes, different styles, different pacing. But more than anything, it’s about communication, trust, and getting to the destination safely, even if that destination changes. This is Part 2 of Day 1.
