Cascada de la Salceda ,una de las cascadas más bonitas de Burgos 🌿

We discovered the route to La Salceda Waterfall, one of the most beautiful and surprising spots in Las Merindades, north of Burgos. The route begins in the small village of Quisicedo and follows a well-maintained forest track, surrounded by pine and oak trees. As the path gently ascends, the landscape changes, and we enter a beautiful beech forest, accompanied by large ferns that create a spectacular setting. Towards the end, we come across the San Miguel stream, which we cross via the Puente de los Mazos (Bridge of the Hammers) before reaching the waterfall. There, the water cascades from a height of about 30 meters, forming a silky white veil in the heart of nature. An easy route, approximately 9 km long with 300 meters of elevation gain, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the surroundings. 📍 Location: Las Merindades (Burgos) 📏 Distance: 9 km (round trip) 📈 Elevation gain: 300 m 🥾 Difficulty: Easy ⚠️ Caution: Muddy area near the waterfall If you enjoyed the video, please give it a thumbs up 👍 and share it.
