Questions over handling of planned arrests of SAPS officials
Policing expert Lennit Max says while IDAC did not need permission to act against Crime Intelligence boss Dumisani Khumalo and Maj-Gen Nozipho Madondo, failing to inform ministers beforehand reflects poor administration and “disrespect” toward Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia and Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi. The pair have lodged complaints against IDAC for investigating them.
