Per Fine Ounce - James Bond 007 Theme Song

"Per Fine Ounce" was a fully written James Bond novel by South African author Geoffrey Jenkins, based on a story idea Ian Fleming had approved years earlier. After Fleming’s death, Jenkins was officially commissioned in 1966 to write the first continuation Bond novel, but although he delivered the completed manuscript, Glidrose (publishers) rejected it for reasons never publicly explained. The book then disappeared into the archives, leaving only its title, its South African setting, and a few hints about diamond‑ or gold‑smuggling, making it the most famous “lost” Bond novel — discovered in Fleming’s papers, commissioned with high expectations, and ultimately never used. The book is thought to have been gritty and violent, so for this version, we've imagined it being a Timothy Dalton movie of the late 1980's. Enjoy.
