Diana Ross at Red Rock! Diana's Theme/I'm Coming Out/More Today Than Yesterday (June 27, 2024)

With 50 miles per hour wind, Diana Ross proved that no wind, no rain could stop her! Mother Nature loves to embrace Ms. Ross and does so every chance she performs outdoors. There was a delay start to the show for about 20 minutes (probably due to the danger of the winds) and Ms. Ross must have been impatient because she walked out on stage before her band and singers did. "Where's my band?" she inquired as they suddenly materialized. She beckoned her singers to join her on stage and as they did, she asked the audience to repeat her prayer/mantra. It was an amazing sight to see Diana Ross reliving her Central Park concert, which she mentioned. Red Rock is a magical venue but it has to endure the elements that had made it so majestic. It was a short concert due to the weather but otherwise, she proved, once again, why she is called The Boss!
