Shine Omukiga is an original artist from the western part of Uganda. With her versatile taste in music, she is widely known across Western Uganda, where she has built a strong audience and fan base. However, she says she is not under pressure to cross over to Kampala because she is comfortable with what she has achieved so far. Shine Omukiga is also related to Ann Kansiime, the well-known Ugandan comedian who has graced many stages both locally and internationally.
