Join Jack Haines as he takes you on an exclusive tour of the Benetti B.Yond 37m, “Never Say Never Again”. The Benetti B.Yond 37m is one of the most revolutionary yachts that Benetti has produced. It’s 37m long but thanks to its five-deck arrangement it is 431 gross tonnes, which is the sort of volume you’d expect to find on a 50m yacht. “Never Say Never Again” is a stunning example and features six cabins (one of which has been converted to a gym), a tender and twin Ski Doos and the optional €2 million Siemens diesel-electric propulsion system. The genius of the design is how focussed the individual decks are. The lower deck is given over to crew and machinery with the main deck above home to the tender deck, aft and four guest cabins with a living space in the middle that guests can enjoy together. The upper deck houses a comfortable lounge with the dinette at its forward end, overlooking the foredeck and hot tub, which can be accessed directly via a set of curved sliding doors. The bridge deck has the bridge forward with a watch cabin aft but the aft section of this deck is home to the owner’s suite, which includes a fabulous ensuite stateroom with direct access to a private terrace via set of sliding doors. At the very top of the yacht is the sun deck with dining space and sunbathing areas. The mix of MAN diesel engines, electric motors and a vast battery bank give extraordinary range of up to 7,800nm at 9 knots.
