HOW TO MAKE A STRONG, WATERPROOF BOAT SHOWER 🛀 Ep.144 Building my steel sailing yacht

This episode is all about making Mistress' shower space water proof (and strong too) by applying GRP/fibreglass taping to all of the corners, adding fairing filler to lay down a base that 'falls' to the drain position to drain water and then laying GRP/fibreglass over the whole base to make it all one, strong and water proof sealed area! YES indeed, HAPPY boat builder 😁 👌 Mistress is designed by one of the highly respected Dutch naval arcitects E.G. Van de Stadt, a Caribbean design, length 40ft/12m, beam 13ft/3.9m, draft 5ft/1.5m. Her hull and decks are built in mild steel and I have built her on my own and am also fitting her out on my own. I have not built any type of boat before Mistress. There were many reasons why, but the work stopped,... However, the work has re-started, thankfully, and I am on an exciting journey to finish Mistress and then go on my sailing adventures,...
