Pirates of Maracaibo - Playthrough and Review

Hello everyone! Maracaibo was one of our favorite games of 2019. We loved it to bits! This year, we have a new, lighter, smaller version of the game. Most "versions" (x the card/dice game etc) usually lacks a lot and always gives us the feeling of "Why are we not playing the original?" Will it be the same with Pirates of Maracaibo, or can it stand on it's own as a solid, good game?
