Radford Semele Grandsire Doubles

The Coventry Guild annual 6-bell striking competition was held at St. Nicholas Church in Radford Semele on 2nd March. There was a good turn-out with 12 teams entering in total, with 8 ringing methods and 4 ringing call changes. The rain held away which gave plenty of opportunity for people to listen to the other teams! This is a clip from one of the method teams ringing Grandsire Doubles. The church itself is interesting, being very modern on the inside but looking traditional from the outside – the result of the restoration following a fire in 2008.
