In part 1 of Tasman's epic 4 week mid winter trip to fiordland, he pops across from Garden Bay boat ramp in Southland, to Dusky Sound, via Puysegur Point in his trusty wee inflatable boat Red Current. Middle of winter, July 10 - August 7, it was very surprising how warm it was!
