Ingredients: 16 oz Shea Butter 4 oz Sweet Almond Oil 2 oz Jojoba Oil 2 oz Fractionated Coconut Oil 3 tablespoons Arrowroot Powder 3 teaspoons Vitamin E Oil 0.25 – 0.72 oz Fragrance Oil (adjust to your preference) Instructions Melt: Using a double boiler, melt the 16 oz of Shea butter over medium-low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and fractionated coconut oil. Cool: Let the mixture cool, or place it in the refrigerator for about 30–60 minutes. The oils should be opaque and semi-solid, but not fully rock-hard. Whip: Using the whisk attachment, whip the mixture on low for 5 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed. After mixing for about 5 minutes add the arrowroot powder, then mix for 5 more minutes and add the vitamin E oil, and mix for 5 more minutes and add the fragrance oil. Mix until the body butter is light, fluffy, and forms stiff peaks. Pack: Transfer the whipped body butter into clean, air-tight jars. Store in a cool, dry place. Tips for Success Non-Greasy: The 3 tbs of arrowroot powder is key to reducing the oily, greasy feel, leaving a silky finish.
