Fixing the small stuff!

This week’s video is dedicated to my good friend Duane DeStefani, my best car buddy, who recently passed away from a heart attack. He was someone who truly loved cars, especially projects like this Mercedes SLK, and I know he would have wanted me to keep going and finish what we started. After attending his funeral in the U.S., I also took the opportunity to pick up some important parts to continue working on my Mercedes SLK build. In this episode, Aaron and I made a lot of progress on the Mercedes SLK. We worked on installing a new center console, repairing the headliner, adding a cup holder, and replacing the front side marker lights. We also installed a new driver’s side mirror and reattached the bumper to the fender to get the car looking right again. On the mechanical side, Aaron did an amazing job sanding and painting both the valve cover and the Kompressor cover, giving this Mercedes SLK a much cleaner and refreshed look under the hood. Step by step, this Mercedes SLK project is really coming together.
