This Was Supposed to Be a Fun Trip........

This was supposed to be a fun, easy day… Headed back to one of my favorite trout creeks in Kentucky to just mess around, fish some familiar water, and enjoy it. But it turned into one of those days where nothing goes right. Missed fish, short line releases, lost setups, and just couldn’t keep anything pinned. Clear water made things even tougher, and the fish were hitting light all morning. It got frustrating fast. But then, right at the end, a big rainbow showed up on the pink squirmy worm and completely turned the whole day around. Sometimes that’s all it takes. One fish.
