Rains have lashed many parts of Gujarat... Meghraja batted wildly in Surat, Valsad and many parts of Saurashtra, but there is one village in Jamganar district where farmers have been left in a dilemma as not even 1 inch of rain fell. Farmers are worried as rains lashed rural areas along the coast in Jodiya Panthak. As soon as the monsoon set in, rains fell and the hopes of farmers were dashed. Following which, plantations were done in rural areas including Vavdi, Hadiana, Lembida and Kunnal of Jodiya Panthak. But as nature is wont to do, there was barely an inch of rain in the rainy season.... Due to which the farmer who produces manna from grains is crying bitterly today. On the other hand, the canals that the government has made arrangements to deliver water for all its schemes for irrigation are also dry kilns without water....
