Welcome on a scenic drive in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, crossing a remote high mountain pass at about 2,910 m (9,547 ft). From Agoudal, the drive continues on the R704 road, climbing toward the Tizi n’Ouano Pass, one of the highest drivable mountain crossings in the High Atlas. This road section was recently asphalted. Until recently, it was a rough mountain track, usually driven only by 4×4 vehicles. Today, the surface is improved, but the route is still remote, with very little traffic and no services. After reaching the highest point, the road descends through open mountain landscapes and the scenic drive ends in the village of Tilmi. In November, temperatures near the highest point are usually around 11°C (52°F), but weather can change quickly at this altitude.
