"Ever Ready Love" on the Soupy Sales Show - HQ Audio - The Temptations
From the Soupy Sales show, aired on Feb 19, 1979. Glenn Leonard leads on this song from their second Atlantic album, "Bareback". This is near the end of their time at Atlantic (my favorite Temptations era), so they must've been working on their third Atlantic album, which has not been released. The audio from this performance was not live, so I remastered the audio simply by putting a HQ (high quality) recording of this song on top of the video. I also boosted Soupy's voice as well. (He's the one at the beginning of the show). Soupy did the liner notes for one of the Temptations biggest albums, "In A Mellow Mood"! When the lineup was David, Paul, Eddie, Melvin and Otis. Only 12 years later, is the new Temptations lineup performing on his show. Love the outfits. #temptations #richardstreet #glennleonard #otiswilliams #louisprice #melvinfranklin #liveaudio #soupysales
