Adjustment of a Quadrilateral by Approximate Method (w/ example)
A quadrilateral is adjusted to remove all discrepancies and to give the most probable value of the angles. The adjustment is best performed using the least squares method; however, the approximate method also yields results that are sufficiently precise for most cases of triangulation of ordinary precision.
