EP-2 BTS Bangkok to Bali | Stir fried veggies in breakfast, Sim card charges in Bali, Indonesia

There are two airports in Bali - Swarnabhumi and Meuang - both are almost at 1 hour away from each other. We had our flight from Don Mueang airport ( SMK) to Bali- Denpasar airport. This video is about the Journey from Bangkok, Thailand to Bali. Stay at this homestay was average, limited facilities. Tariff - Rs 2,220 without food for March 2024.I booked this accommodation from air bnb,. Don Mueang Airport - DMK Bangkok - We had a flight from Bangkok to Bali at 1:50 pm , i didn’t see the airport name so clearly in the flight details and thought that we are going back from Swarnbhumi airport where we landed when coming from Delhi. Distance between Swarnbhum airport and Don Mueang is about 50 km. We had to speed up bcoz of this last minute mis understanding and finally managed to catch the flight. Thai Tea at the Airport - We purchased a Thai Tea Box from the Airport. After reaching home, i have used this tea and found it to be really good, cost spent is worth it. Cost - 145 Baht. Bali Airport - After 4 Hours of Flight Journey we reached at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Indonesia.This airport is based at Denpasar. Travelers generally prefer to do their first 2 days stay at kuta which is just 20 to 30 min from Denpasar airport. This is actually the right thing to do if your flight is reaching late in night. If your flight reaches in morning or during the day then you can plan stay where ever you like. When you come to Indonesia you have to take an E-visa for here which you can get online from their official website by paying 33 dollars per person. You can apply for e visa in advance online for pay the fee at the airport. Website - https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/ We also paid the Bali Tourism Tax Fee of 10 Dollars, We paid this fee online before starting our journey. Though after reaching Denpasar airport Bali, we realized that no body checked this. Website - https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/ After this, we were picked up by our Driver Mr. Dewa at the Airport & we headed towards our Hotel in Ubud. Driver name - Dewa - +62 818-569-293 SIM Card near Ubud - After this on the way to Ubud we stopped to Buy a local SIM card. SIM card Cost - 250k IDR 24 GB data sim bought from a shop. These sims cannot be used hotspot network sharing. I realized that if you want to make local outgoing call using mobile network then you need to do a top up. Most people of Bali use Whatsapp to make outgoing calls. So in away it be said data is used for outgoing mobile calls by most people. Hotel in Ubud - After this we reached our Hotel in Ubud. We booked our Hotel in Alam Pangkung Ubud. This hotel is located in the heart of Ubud. It was just an average hotel, since we had booke it from make my trip for 2 days, so i decided to change hotel after 2 days, new hotel you will see in ep 3 Ubud episode BTS.
