How to do a basic cash sales transaction on the CountLab 2 cash register. 1) Mode key in REG position 2) Type in sales value using 0-9 numeric keypad and without pressing the decimal point as the till inputs this automatically, ie: for £19.95 enter 1995 3) Assign that amount to one of the sixteen sales departments (or categories) by pressing a DP button 4) Press SUBTOTAL 5) Type in the monies tendered by the customer 6) Press CASH The cash drawer will fire open (if unlocked) allowing you to put the money in and dispense the change. The change amount will be displayed on the operator and customer displays provided that the cash tendered was registered.
