It was built in 1905 as part of the construction of the Żuławy Commuter Railway network and still spans the banks of the Szkarpawa River. What makes it unique is its unique, over a century-old mechanism. The bridge doesn't rise upwards, but rotates horizontally by 90 degrees on a special pillar placed in the river, opening the waterway for ships and yachts. The entire process—from manually unscrewing the locking bolts, through the rotation itself, to reconnecting the tracks—is a demonstration of brilliant engineering from the early 20th century, which, despite the passage of time and the turmoil of war, still functions flawlessly.
