Hey everyone, let's travel the world together! In today's video, we'll show you how we managed to attend the General Audience at the Vatican with Pope Francis. First, let's clarify that the invitation to the audience is FREE. You just have to send an email 📧 and wait for a response to your request with instructions on how to pick up your invitations the day before the audience. We requested 5 invitations as soon as we decided on our trip to Rome + Vatican, so send yours as soon as you know the date you're going!!! In the video, we show you how to send the email and how to pick up your invitation(s). Oh, and on the day of the audience, it's worth arriving early. The audience only starts at 9:00 AM, but there's already a long line before 7:00 AM. We arrived at 6:50 AM and there were already many people. Another tip is to look for seats near the aisle where the Pope will pass after the audience. It's important to remember that although the audience ended around 9:40 AM, we had to wait over an hour for the Pope to pass through that "corridor." So, try to plan ahead to allow that extra time. Oh, and if you're newlyweds, you can indicate this when requesting your invitation and gain access to the exclusive area. Furthermore, this select group has access to the Pope: he will greet you 🥰🙏 (Note: you must be dressed in wedding attire – nothing too formal). Finally, we want to emphasize that at no point were we asked for invitations (we don't know if they are requested in other weeks – perhaps on busier dates/peak season), meaning that if you want to try going without one, it might work.
