Many of you have asked me about it, and I've finally managed to get a first flight impression, even though the actual test flight will be covered in a second video. This video features first flight impressions of the Argon GLT produced by Polish Manufaktura Lotnicza, powered by a Rotax 915. The first true Gran Turismo gyroplane. A true SUV with a rotor. Enormous interior space for its category, a massive trunk, and record-breaking range for this type of aircraft. In this video, due to time constraints (we were at an air show), I tested the aircraft's main strengths: comfort and onboard space, and the ability to travel laden with fuel and luggage (we had a payload of over 250 kg). The gyroplane is new (80 flight hours) and will soon need to have its rotor balanced as required by the manufacturer (which is why the stick vibrates a bit, along with the fact that we were heavy and the rotor hadn't been cleaned). This is why we didn't use autopilot or try a fast cruise speed, but simply pushed the aircraft up to its "normal" cruise speed. As mentioned in the video, more will follow where I'll test the avionics systems and simulate a fast cruise from point A to point B. This was the first unit delivered to the ITALIAN MARKET, and for less than a year it has been flying the skies of central Italy thanks to the new Italian and Swiss dealer Fabrizio Minelli (https://foxtrotmikeaviation.com/).
