I visited the Bomok Sewage Treatment Plant in Seogwipo, Jeju City, after hearing news that the waters off the plant were polluted. Surprisingly, it turned out to be the best snorkeling and freediving spot. It's not sandy, but mostly rocky. The water depth is quite shallow. The deepest part reaches 7 meters at high tide. I saw a wide variety of fish, including black bream, amberjack, spotted bream, rock bream, and horse mackerel. #fish #jejuisland #seogwipo #snorkeling #freediving Parking is easy, and the spot is relatively safe, so I highly recommend it for water sports.
