心が汚い人は必ず○○を言う【仏教の教え】
A post on X (formerly Twitter) uploaded by someone who has recovered from a prolonged power outage following the disaster is going viral. "I'm sitting in a bright room with the air conditioner on, listening to music on YouTube and watching the TV I don't even watch. How happy I am." It's said that we only appreciate something when we lose it, and it seems that the recent power outages caused by the disaster made many people keenly aware of the benefits of electricity. In his autobiographical manga, Tezuka Osamu describes how on the night of August 15th, the day the war ended, he saw the lights on in the city and felt a surge of joy, as if he had finally experienced peace, and became so excited he wanted to dance wildly. This is probably an emotion that only those who lived through an era when peace was not taken for granted can understand. One of the lyrics, "'What should we have for dinner tonight?' my wife asked, and I asked, 'I guess, what do we have?' I imagined we'd continue having this conversation tomorrow and the day after," also sticks in my mind. When we lose something important because we didn't realize it, we realize for the first time how much we've relied on it, how much we've relied on it, and how irreparable it has been. In this world of impermanence, where we never know what will happen, we must cherish the irreplaceable connections we have now and live our lives without regrets. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 20-part free email course here ----------------------------------------------------------------- https://peraichi.com/landing_pages/vi... ↑ This free email course reveals the answer to the Buddhist teachings about the "meaning of life."
