The Museum Stories Documentary, Military Museums series, records the stories of the 1st Army and Florence Nightingale Museum located in Selimiye Barracks. Believe me, we listened to really beautiful stories in this museum, both the stories of the 1st Army and a legendary activist woman. Museums have stories and this documentary follows those stories. We were very happy to find the stories of Florence Nightingale's years at Selimiye Barracks in this museum, to see the medical devices she used up close, to learn why she was called the lady with the lamp and even to look at the sea from the windows where the British officer waited for his way.
