Earlier in the day, I attended Kamala’s Kloset Self-Care Saturday, where we enjoyed free food, clothing, resources, and empowering information. It was a wonderful event focused on self-care, community, and personal growth. Later, I stopped by the Sherwood Block Party, but because of the rain, I didn’t stay long and decided to head home. After I got home, I learned about the tragic incident that occurred. I want to clarify that I had already left and was safely at home before the incident took place. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was injured, their families, and all those affected.
