NO NAME FALLS?┃Blue Mountains Waterfalls NSW Australia Pt 15 - Amphitheatre (Off-Track Series) Starting Waratah Picnic Area, a track takes you to Waratah Falls apparently Unofficial name, on Berambing Gully Creek Trib is a short walk into a cool little Amphitheatre Gorge off the Bells Line of Rd near Bilpin. 2 kms return _____________________________________________________________________ Waratah significance in the Blue Mountains The name “Waratah Falls” almost certainly comes from the abundance of wild waratahs (Telopea) in the Berambing–Mt Tomah area. Waratahs were historically harvested heavily in the late 1800s and early 1900s, especially around Blackheath and the northern escarpment, where thousands were shipped to Sydney and Melbourne for events.
