Can I Find Gold at 11,000 feet? Mayflower Gulch, Colorado #goldpanning #colorado
https://goldputz.com [email protected] Two legacy placers (Follette and McNulty) were sourced by lode in the Mayflower Gulch (and others) basin. The placer fields are mostly covered by the tailings ponds of the Climax Mine, but the area near the parking lot for Mayflower Gulch appears to have some old placer workings. I do some testing from the stream and from the stream benches.
