One Rock Ruined This Entire Bore
What should’ve been a simple bore for a french drain turned into a full redo. Everything was going smooth until I hit a rock underground that deflected the bore and threw my grade off. When you’re installing drainage, grade is everything—and being off even a little can cause big problems later. Instead of trying to force a bad install, I pulled back, reset everything, and bored it again the right way. In this video I show the mistake, why it happened, and how we fixed it. Sometimes the job takes longer, but doing it right always beats doing it twice… even if this time I had to do both. That’s excavation life.
