Gentemstick is one of Japan's and Hokkaido's most respected snowboard brand with an extensive range of quality powderboards for various terrain and riding styles . The Chaser High Performance 155 is put to the test here in Japan`s powder snow at Furano in early March 2021. This is a super light, soft and agile board, which has a loose surfy playful feel to it in the powder and carves it up exceptionally well on the groomers with the Gentemstick accel camber profile locking in turns. It just shreds all around the resort in and out of the trees! On a day with more powder I would go with the Chaser which is wider giving me more float and on super deep days the Flyfisk would be the go being a much bigger board at164 cm long and wider, though this board would not be as agile and playful for me.
