Metromare, un treno in più sulla linea entra in servizio un altro Caf

Ostia (Rome) - On Thursday, July 9, Lazio Region Councilor for Mobility and Transport Fabrizio Ghera inspected the Cristoforo Colombo station on the Metromare line, formerly the Rome-Lido line, where an additional CAF train, purchased by the Region in October 2025 for an investment of €5 million, has entered service. The initial agreement called for a €3.2 million payment to Atac in exchange for one of the Cotral fleet's rolling stock undergoing maintenance. After discussions between Councilor Ghera and Rome Capital, it was decided to proceed directly with a purchase proposal for €5 million, thus increasing the available fleet.
