Did Someone Say Borates
My friend Greg Garrett with Applied Materials Technology gave me a sample of his product DOT. Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate. This new Borate product has a pH of 7.8 so depending on your pH you may need to add about 40 oz of acid after you use it. My pH came up by 2 points from 7.9 to 8.1 so I added 40 oz of acid. This product is a lot safer than Boric Acid BC it doesn't have a pH of 4 and it dissolves fast. Keep an eye out for it. You can follow me at / keepitcleanpool / keepitcleanpoolservice
