Allegro amabile Abstract: In this excerpt from the masterclass, Professor Caussé discusses the most suitable bowings and bow directions for the opening phrase of the first movement. He also suggests that the student engage more with the piano part, as the melodies are in constant dialogue between the two instruments. In the following phrase, he highlights the importance of vibrato to provide more support and create a solid foundation for the upcoming notes. Regarding a specific glissando, Caussé recommends avoiding it and offers alternative fingerings.
