Twenty three years ago today, 05/17/02, a young Nick Curran sat in with The Hollywood Blue Flames at Cozy's in Sherman Oaks CA. The joint was jumpin' all night long. This was the last song of the night, it starts out with the Blue Flames, Al Blake, Fred Kaplan, Larry Taylor, Richard Innes and a young Kirk Fletcher. In the middle of the song, Nick changes places with Kirk to wind it up. A very special night of killer blues.
