"Even Beginning of My Life Was Very Dramatic"

That day, June 13th, 1917, was terribly hot. This is what Zerka Toeman Moreno mentions in her last book about her birth in the Netherlands, talking about the family medical doctor and her mother: “One morning, entering the master bedroom to which Father had carried her for the night, he declared, ‘Fire is falling from the sky.’” Apparently, everything was very easy and quick: “He lifted up Mother, carried her across the hall, laid her on the bed and there I was!”. But something serious was about to happen, and this is what she tells us in this short video. In addition to what she wrote in her last book “To Dream Again – A Memoir”, the wife and partner of dr. Jacob Levy Moreno adds: “Even [the] beginning of my life was dramatic… and violent.” Happy 109th birthday, dear Zerka!
