The New Holland CX6.90 grain harvester can be confidently called one of the most popular combines on the market. This machine is suitable for both large and medium-sized farms. The threshing system of the combine is based on a four-drum system called Opti-Thresh. In this system, the grain mass after being fed by the inclined chamber conveyor falls on a threshing drum with a diameter of 600 and a length of 1560 mm, followed by a beater, a rotary separator with the same dimensions as the threshing drum and another beater. The rotation speed of the threshing drum in standard equipment varies from 400 to 1140 rpm. The total separation area on the concaves is 2.4 m2. A 6-key straw walker with a total cleaning area of ​​6.45 m2. The straw walker drive is equipped with an Opti-Speed ​​​​function for changing the speed of the keys. Thanks to it, the speed of the straw walker keys decreases when the combine is moving uphill or, conversely, increases when moving downhill. The cascade cleaning system has a total area of ​​5.2 m2. Optionally, the combine can be equipped with an automatic sieve leveling system when working on slopes. The turbine fan of the cleaning system is also equipped with an Opti-Fan automatic speed control system, which reduces the speed when the combine is moving uphill and increases it when moving downhill. The combine has the ability to configure three methods of using chaff: on stubble under a straw swath, in a swath together with straw, or mixing with straw that is fed to the chopper. In this case, the last third method is used. Such flexible work with chaff becomes possible when the combine is equipped with a two-rotor chaff spreader with a hydraulic drive. The grain hopper has a capacity of 9,300 liters. The unloading system with a 5.5 m long unloading auger unloads grain at a maximum speed of 100 l/s. The combine harvester is powered by a 6-cylinder turbocharged FPT Industrial Cursor 9 engine with a working volume of 8.7 liters. The maximum engine power is 333 hp. The combine harvester is equipped with a cruise control system, due to which the engine speed is reduced when moving on the road, which allows for significant fuel savings. The fuel tank capacity is 670 liters. The combine harvester has a hydrostatic transmission with electronic control. The manual gearbox has 3 speeds for movement with remote switching. The maximum speed is 30 km/h. Upon separate request, the combine harvester can be equipped with a plug-in drive of the steered wheels. The new two-seater Harvest Suite Deluxe cabin is 200 mm more spacious and more roomy. The internal volume is 3.7 m3, and the glazing area is 6.3 m2. All the main combine control systems are displayed on the control panel integrated into the right armrest. And information about the state of the combine systems is displayed on a 10-inch color touch screen. Upon request, the combine can be equipped with additional systems, such as a moisture and yield measurement system, automatic driving systems, a telemetry system and many others. The combine can be equipped with grain headers with a working width of up to 9 meters. Corn headers can harvest up to 8 rows of corn.
