"Whidbey" song by me, Buddy Ross. trying my hand at video editing/processing. this is some footage of an early early morning drive to the beach on Whidbey Island in Washington state to do some fly fishing for coho salmon. I love deer and they are plentiful on the island so I made sure to record most of my drive hoping to catch one on camera. I have so many old song ideas collecting dust. I realized that if I don’t put things out there they will just die on my computer with me. This is an “idea” I’ve liked for a long time (made in 2016) but never found an artist for it to live with. In 2019, a time of deep reflection, I was bumming around a lot in my pickup truck filming stuff I saw on my phone when I was out fishing. I tried my hand at some video editing to the song. And just came across it tonight and figured I should just put it out there. I hope y’all can vibe out to it.
