There are talents that deserve to be heard by the whole world… and in this video, we had the opportunity to spend time with some incredible old-school musicians who gave us one of the most special moments we've experienced filming for this channel. ❤️🎶 This time, we took to the streets of Culiacán to visit “La Vieja Escuela” (The Old School), a group of gentlemen with an impressive talent for old-school regional Mexican music, the kind of music that never goes out of style and continues to touch people's hearts. Among them, we met Mr. Jacinto again, a musician who goes out every day to play his tololoche (bass) to earn an honest living and put food on the table for his family. Despite the difficulties, the lack of resources, and the visual problems he faces, Mr. Jacinto has never stopped fighting for what he loves most: music. But lately, his instrument had become quite deteriorated… and thanks to the support of a kind-hearted person who contacted us, we decided to prepare a very special surprise for him. But before giving him the gift, we wanted to do something fun… 😅 We brought in a member of Grupo Resguardo to pretend to be the new bass player so Mr. Jacinto could judge our musical talent. Amid laughter, songs, and great traditional norteño music, we experienced an unforgettable moment that ended on a very emotional note. At the end of the video, we let him know that the real gift was for him… a new bass guitar so he can continue doing what he loves most. ❤️ This video isn't just about music… it's also about recognizing the people who have dedicated their lives to regional Mexican music and who often don't receive the support they deserve. We hope this small gesture can help Mr. Jacinto and that more people will appreciate the enormous talent that exists on the streets.
