Reconciliation | Relationship Goals - Episode 4

Is there a name — a brother, a parent, an old friend — that makes your palms sweat the moment you hear the word *reconciliation*? Reflecting on 2 Corinthians 5:14–20, Pastor Collin draws attention to Paul’s description of Christ’s love that compels us, leaving no other direction to go. The staggering truth is that God, the innocent party, initiated reconciliation with us while we were still guilty, removing every obstacle except our willingness to respond. Because we carry that message, we simply cannot tell someone, "You can be reconciled to God in spite of your sin, but not to me" — so take the step, write the letter, make the call, even if it goes unanswered. Sermon recorded at First Baptist Church Longview, Texas on September 8, 2019.
