Chub in March, the spring games begin! This time, I decided to start fishing with a slightly larger lure. Bigger lure = bigger fish? That's the goal I set myself this time, and I think I succeeded. The fish were definitely bigger than on previous fishing trips. Perhaps it was a coincidence, or just a coincidence, but I caught three quite good-sized specimens, which belies any chance of luck or other fortunate circumstances. There were also some bites. Despite the still very low water level, I managed to find some chub. Of course, I wanted to catch more, but I can thank the river for this. I fished with a Tenryu Rayz 632S-L spinning rod; I'm becoming more and more fond of this beautiful and very cool rod. Fishing with this rod is a pleasure. YUMMY's ribbed Tranta slugs are excellent for catching chub. I've tried three different colors of these lures, and all three have caught chub, some of them quite large. I'm extremely pleased to have added lures from this brand to my arsenal.
