Crews continue to make progress on the Mount Underwood wildfire (V71989), burning about eight kilometres south of Port Alberni. Since 3 p.m. yesterday (Thursday, August 14), the area has received 28.4 millimetres of rain, leading to minimal fire growth over the past 24 hours.
