Apple IIgs Emulation and GSOS Installation

UPDATE : This is an old video meant for developers. If you are just looking to get set up and play IIgs games, this video will likely confuse you more than help. To get jumpstarted with IIgs emulation do this: 1) Download an emulator (GSPort, Sweet16 or GSplus) 2) Download the IIgs firmware (ROM01 or 03) 3) Download some IIgs games For steps 2 and 3, go to the awesome Apple IIgs site: http://www.whatisthe2gs.apple2.org.za/ --- Original Description Below for historical purposes -- Just a quick run-through of building the KEGS emulator and creating a fresh GSOS disk image. This glosses over a lot and my terminology is not 100% accurate in some places, but that was my intention. I just wanted to give an example of how to play around with this stuff. If you really do want to follow along with the KEGS build, you'll probably need to install Xcode and Xwindows. If you want to use AppleCommander you'll need to install Java.
